"The Business of Making Fun"

Laughter for laughter’s sake is a worthy endeavor, but humor can do more. It has the power to make us think, feel, and connect. Audiences know this. George Carlin certainly knew this.

But comedy is a business, one that often values style and youth over substance. Let’s face it, we are living in a Kardashian culture. The clubs, television, and the music industry are full of very hot looking people with little to say.

Audiences are craving authenticity and an occasional deep thought. It is the mission of this comic to find them. And she has – in some of the most unlikely places.
