Mark McDevitt
“TEDx celebrates all of the things I hold dear: people, community, ideas and creativity. How great to have this happening in my own back yard.”
Mark McDevitt grew up on the west coast of Ireland. After living in New York City for 12 years, he recently moved to the town of Fair Haven with his Jersey-born girlfriend.
As a camera operator shooting TV and film for over 10 years, he honed his craft working with some of the best in the business. He is now a producer and director at Look Here Films, a boutique video services company. Mark’s written work has appeared in the New York Times, The Irish Times and Men’s Health. He is currently adapting a book called The Translator for the big screen, the first full-length feature film to tell the inside story of the Darfur Genocide.
