Main Show

Molière’s classic comedy about a middle-aged man named arnolphe, whose plan to mold a simple woman into the “perfect” wife goes quickly awry. Can this pompous bachelor really be a match for rival suitors, inept servants and the wit of his soon-to-be bride? a true classic written by the master of French farce, this season opener is not to be missed!

Our First Speaker:

Michael Phillips-Anderson is an Associate Professor of Communication at Monmouth University. He holds a Ph.D. in Rhetoric from the University of Maryland. His teaching and publications explore the intersections of humor, politics, and popular culture. He is currently at work on a book about satirical presidential campaigns.

 

Followed by:

Michael O’Keeffe has been a featured performer at TEDxNavesink. He’s been performing and teaching improv comedy for over twenty years. After graduating from Villanova University, he worked in Orlando performing and writing with the Sak Theatre Comedy Lab.
