“I have been planning and organizing since birth. It is in every thread of my fiber. So when you attend a conference like TEDxNavesink and you depart saying it is one of the most amazing, inspirational, well organized events you have ever attended, that is saying loads.”

Special Events Manager

Corinna, is the owner of Brightwork Events, an event planning company that is dedicated to the power of organization and the art of detail and specializes in planning and executing community events.

Corinna has, and continues to, commit many hours to public service and community involvement. She was recently appointed the co-director for FilmOneFest, a one-minute film festival with over 2,000 attendees. , She is also the major fundraiser for the festival since 2010. Before launching Brightwork Events, Corinna garnered many years of meeting planning experience at a large financial institution where she had a budget of $1.5 M to train brokers. Her career also included marketing and internal wholesaling.

She and her husband, Robert, moved to the jewel by the sea, Atlantic Highlands in 1998, after years of visiting the area. A huge advocate for the town and for public education, Corinna served as PTO president for 6 years and her tenure brought the school a new playground, rock wall, landscaping, a sound system and more! She then ran for public office and was elected to the Atlantic Highlands Board of Education, where she is currently serving a 3-year term. In addition, she is the Vice President of the newly formed, Henry Hudson Tri-District Education Foundation.

Bilingual in German, her husband and daughter tolerate her need to organize and remind her to enjoy the other things she loves to do: skiing, sailing, sledding, snowshoeing, swimming, and walking in the woods with her dog!
