Jennifer Hom

Jen received both a M.B.A. and a B.S. in Business Administration with a double-major in economics and finance from Monmouth University, having graduated magna cum laude and with undergraduate and graduate level inductions into Beta Gamma Sigma. Although Jen served in multiple organizations during her entirety at MU, the greatest highlights were roles serving in the university’s Human Relations Advisory Council, Economics & Finance Club, and WMCX 88.9 FM — especially as station News Director for two years during graduate school.

Currently, Jen is an entrepreneur and fundraiser in the green energy industry. When not seeking a new full-time job, she can be found advocating various causes and regularly volunteering for different non-profit organizations: wait and support staffs at a local community restaurant; Middletown Twp Cultural & Arts Council board member/trustee and fundraising committee of Middletown Arts Center; local chapter’s outreach co-coordinator of an organization dedicated to climate change; performing member of Monmouth Civic Chorus; special victims advocate; and advocate for other issues and causes.

A vegetarian since 1998 and Middletown, NJ native, Jen is a feminist and lover of the arts, service, and sustainability. Resulting from one of several close relationships formed with MU faculty from years working as research and graduate assistants, Jen is currently co-authoring a paper for a conference presentation and forthcoming publication.
