Amy McDonagh is an independent consultant focusing on public health, adolescent girls and economic empowerment in developing countries.  She helps organizations design and implement programs that protect the health and well-being and expand opportunities of the poorest adolescent girls in developing countries.   She also designs, develops and implements HIV/AIDS prevention programs and livelihood strategies for the poorest around the world.  Clients include the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Nike Foundation and the MAC AIDS Foundation.  For fun, Amy enjoys running around with her 6 year old twin boys, reading, documentary films, biking, kayaking and Crossfit.
