TEDxNavesink 2014: The Value of Play will offer 25 live talks and entertainments on the surprising ways that play is a positive force in our lives. Being at play is a resourceful state. Play facilitates greater openness, tolerance, creativity, generosity, and curiosity. As a consequence, play generates value in business, education, innovation, public space, community, real estate values, culture, and on stage, land, sea, air, and in cyber space.
TEDxNavesink Talks are almost full. We seek 1-2 more talks on sports, science, start-ups, sexuality, food, or the maritime life.
If you can deliver a talk between 5 and 10 minutes in length that is surprising, moving, informative, inspiring, and useful related to THE VALUE OF PLAY – that is an idea worth spreading – then we invite you to propose a talk using the form below.
