INTERN or Volunteer: WordPress Editorial Webmaster

We are looking for an intern to serve as our editorial webmaster. You’ll be working with the technical webmaster (or these two roles may be combined, depending on the skills of our candidates), the editorial and marketing teams,

You’re primary responsibility is to ensure that content developed by the marketing and editorial teams are properly is properly formatted and executed across our various online media.

Most of your work will be done on WordPress, but you are likely to also help out with executing newsletters and other communications as needed. Possibly, this role may extend to supporting users of our various social media accounts as well.

Depending on your skills and initiative, you may also become integral in supporting any social media and online community building/management efforts as they evolve over time.

The ideal candidate already knows how to publish content using WordPress, has experience with email marketing platforms and social media platform.

Requirements:

- Should be self-starter and able to work independently after being briefed.


- The ability to stick to deadlines and deal with tight turnarounds will be essential.

- Writing/proofreading and designs skills are a plus

- Social media management skills are a plus

- Experience with design/layout/photo editing is a plus

Depending on the skillset of the candidate and our needs, the job may take more of a technical or editorial turn over time.
